Wedding Hair Broken Arrow Best Tips
How do I know which wedding hair style is right for me?
There are many factors to consider when choosing a wedding hair style. Experts suggest that you don’t stray too far from the real you, and choose a look that tends to be more timeless and classic instead of avante garde. Years from now when you look through your wedding photos, you do not want to cringe and say, “What was I thinking?” Choose a style that compliments your dress. If your dress has clean classic lines and simplicity, choose a classic chignon or simple understated style. If your dress is vintage, choose a style with vintage charm. For an elaborate and ornate dress with lots of detail, a complimentary wedding hair style will have intricate details, too.
What should I bring to my initial wedding hair consultation?
Your first appointment with our wedding hair stylists is a wonderful time to share your vision and your ideas. You can bring photos that you have collected that show different styles that you like as well as photos of your dress. If you are planning to wear a veil or hair accessories, you can bring these items as well so that we can determine which styles will work best with the type of veil or hair ornaments that you have chosen. If your wedding is outdoors we will share options for different styles that will work well in outdoor settings where heat & humidity can be a factor.
Do I need to schedule a trial run for my wedding hair style?
Yes. A trial run is very important. A trial run allows you to see exactly how your bridal hair style will look in advance of your wedding day. This gives you and your stylist the opportunity to make adjustments to the style and to fine tune the details before the big day. A trial run is one of the best ways to avoid extra stress on your wedding day. With a trial run, you will already have seen a working example of the finished look in advance. We highly recommend scheduling a wedding hair trial run at our hair salon at least 2 to 3 months before the date of your wedding.
What color should I paint my nails?
Most bridal experts suggest a classic look such as French nails or a color that is very close to the natural color of your nails. We highly suggest getting a Shellac manicure and pedicure. Shellac will give your manicure a beautiful, durable color that will last for up to 2 weeks without chipping or peeling.
Do I need to schedule a trial run for my makeup as well as my hair?
Scheduling a trial run for your bridal makeup is just as important as scheduling an appointment for your hair. You can schedule both appointments on the same day so that you can get a complete vision of what your finished look will be.
For wedding makeup, choose a colors that will work well with your skin tone and accentuate your features. Opt for a timeless look that will compliment your style without being drastic. After your makeup is applied at your trial run, observe how it looks in different kinds of light so that you can see if any adjustments need to be made.
